My deepest condolences go out to you and your family. Please remember this is not what God intended for mankind to suffer and to die. In The Bible Jesus promised to have a resurrection and Selima could be part of the resurrection, please read John:28 and 29. God loves you and your family.

I am a former co-worker of Selima when she was employed here in DC at AARP. I knew her as a funny, caring and warm personality that spread sunshine with her smile. I always asked her friend Natalie about her and always told her to let her know I still thought about her friendship as continuous though she moved away to NC. My heart is very sad at hearing this news. God rest her soul and may he continually watch over and bless her children throughout their life.

Believing that you and our Heavenly Father connected gives me incredible peace because you looked so peaceful and it let’s me trust that you “made it over.” God knows best and any thoughts contrary to that do not have that relationship with Him....You have not slept so relaxed since forever Nelson, so rest comfortably and I look forward to seeing you when my journey is over......,,

God strengthens us by giving us "the power beyond what is normal" to make it through each passing day. Psalm 46:1 says: "God is our refuge and strength, a help that is readily found in times of distress". Nahum 1:7; God "is a stronghold in the day of distress, and is mindful of those seeking refuge in him". Please accept my sincere condolences. Always remember God loves you and he cares for you! (Psalm 36:7; 1 Peter 5:7)
