Public Viewing: 1:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Friday, April 22, 2024, at Lea Funeral Home, 2500 Poole Road, Raleigh, NC.

Funeral Service: 11:30 AM, Saturday, April 20, 2024 at Mt. Vernon Christian Church, 300 North Lombard Street, Clayton, NC.

Visitation: 11:00 AM - 11:30 AM, preceding the funeral service at the church.

Interment: Montlawn Memorial Park, Raleigh, NC.

Survivors: Wife, Minnie Rand of the home; Daughters, Valeria Oruma and Shelia Rand, both of Raleigh, NC; Sisters, Bettie English of Raleigh, NC and Lillie Smith of Clayton, NC; Grandchildren, Charles Oruma Jr of Rocky Mount, NC and Valenie Oruma of Raleigh, NC; Great-Grandchildren, Jadoryon Nicholas, Jaylon Oruma, Jordan Oruma-Williams and Charles Oruma III.
